Number sentence


We have been learning to write a story to match a given number sentence.

1. 49+ 6 = 55
Jack had 49 moro bars then he bought six more. How many moro bars does Jack have?

2.  67 - 19 = 43
Little tommy got 67 toys then he lost 19. How many toys does Little Tommy have left?
3.  146 - 68 = 82
Howard  had 146 dogs in his pet shop, he sold  68  last month. How many dogs are in his pet shop now?

4.   230 + 145 = 375
Michael picked 230 apples on Monday and 145 apples on Tuesday. How many apples did he picked on these two days?   

5.  4x5 = 20
Mike made bought 4 bags of apples and there were 5 apples in each bag.  How many apples did Mike buy altogether?
 
6. 18 divided by 6 = 3
Peter had 18 jelly beans. He shared the equally between his 6 friends. How many jelly beans did each of his friend get?
