Basic facts

On monday I did a basic facts test. In this test I scored 42 %. In this test I didn't improve my basic fact.  It was so hard doing the timed test because I don't know basic facts well.  Next time I want to improve my basic facts by knowing it off by heart.

Today I did a basic facts. In this test I scored 80% in 12m and 55s for stage 6. In this test I didn't get the score I wanted because I didn't know my adding and subtracting to thousand and my subtracting to 20. But I  know my multiplication ,division and my addition to 20 very well.  I will try to practice really hard on my adding and subtracting to thousand and my subtraction to 20. Maybe next I try to score 90%.

Basic facts

Yesterday I did a basic facts. In this test I scored 80% in 10m and 21s for stage 6. In test I didn't my adding and subtracting to thousand and I didn't know my subtraction to 20. But I really do know my addition of 20 and multiplication and division. I really need to have more practice on my adding and subtract to thousand and work on my subtraction to 20. Maybe next time I will try to score 87.

Math card game

WALT:revise fractions, Decimals and percentage

Today in maths we played a card game. In this card game we had to match the 4 cards. I find it  easy because I learnt  decimals, percentages and fractions.  Next time I want to learn ratios and proportion.   

Estimation Activities

We estimating the different parts of the cob of sweetcorn. I worked with Tane, Huntah .We were very closest of  the total of kernels. I  find this estimation activity challenging for me but my group helped me to solve the problem. The skills we use was rounding off. I think work in the group is very easy because you can discusses the problem and get the answer. Next time I want learn cross multiplication in fraction.

Basic Facts

On Tuesday I did a basic facts test and the stage that I did was stage 6. Stage 6 was bit a lot  of challenging I have to say because I misunderstood my 1000s. I tried to think so hard how to subtract my 1000s but I did quite well by adding but I got one wrong. On my addition to 20 is  pretty well because I know my addition. So on my subtraction to 20 I got one wrong also on my multiplication and my division I also got one wrong. My score was 32 out of 40. I tried a lot of effort to pass this stage but at least I tried. Basic Facts

Today I did basic facts and the stage I did was stage 6.Today I try my best to get  40%. The only strategies I was so confused with is the 1000. I try so hard to use my

concentration on my work and  to stay focus. The other strategies I’m good at is subtraction to 20 ,  division ,multiplication and addition to 20. Today was score 35%. So maybe next time I hope to improve to get  40% in my basic facts and try more harder on the next level.

Last picture : cut the tenths, hundredths, thousandths

This week  we were learning  about deci-mats. On my first picture  I color brown to represent the deci- mats. On my second picture brown to represent the deci-mats. Then on my third picture I color purple to represent the deci- mats. Today on my last picture I cut a piece from each paper.

But when I found out that the thousands was the smallest and  I felt really shocked.  

Basic Facts Test

WALT: writing a reflection on my Basic Facts result

Yesterday we did our basic facts test.The stage that I did was Stage 6.Today I got my basic facts result and When see my basic facts result I thought to myself that I need to try more harder and harder. My score did I got was 562. My score before was 564.

When I got 562 I knew that I am not making any Improvements. The reason why That I got 562% Because I didn’t finished my basic facts. My basic fact was incomplete so maybe next time I want to try to complete my basic fact test and Accelerate more in my basic facts.

What I want achieve in my e asttle test is try to get a 3A.  

Studyladder

The site that  I went on  is called studyladder . Studyladder  is site that good for student to go on and learn to help them with their vocabulary from the game that  they played. The game that I played is called fraction game . To play the the fraction game  you have to click on the right answer then press a button that say enter  to go on the next question . In this game It was easy because I learnt  a bit of  fraction . So I  got 10 correct In the game . It was fun . Maybe next time on  another game  I will try harder and  Think harder  in my maths .

Bubble Fun

Today I was playing a game called bubble fun. To play bubble fun you need to click and drag with your bubble wand to blow a bubble around the bug.When you get  some of bugs the  question will ask you if the word problems are addition , subtraction , Multiplication and division. When your catch more bugs your points will go high. Today my score was 425 so maybe next time I will try to do my best to reach to 1300. So the best thing is to figure what is the word problem rather it is multiplication , Addition , subtraction , division. Basic Facts

     

Today I was doing a basic facts test. The test I did was stage 5. Today  stage 5 was  a little bit hard but managed to solve the problem out. I did well on multiplication  and division also addition to 20 . And also I did well on 100s and 1000s. But the one didn't do well was Grouping with 100. So maybe next time I will try my hardest to focus on that strategie then I could Score 60/60 to accelerate my level.

Maths Week Game

Today I was playing a maths game but the maths game was called 
Maths Week. In this game it was very easy. All you have to do is to follow instructions to guide you how to play game. Then you need to answer 11 question after that by answering those question you won the game. To go on this game go to www.mathsweek.org.nz   Then click the link to play the game .

Basic Facts

Today I did in maths was  basic facts. The I was doing was stage 5. Stage 5 was a little confusing this time so tried really hard to get it right but the score was 51. I did well on multiplication and 100s and 1000s also addition and  division. So the one I didn't do well was grouping within 100s and subtraction. So maybe next time I will try to do the my  hardest so  I can to improve my maths  and learn my strategies in math. Then maybe next time I will try to score 60 out of 60 to reach stage 6.

Basic Facts Test

Today I was doing a basic facts test. The test I did was  stage 5. The test was a little easy. I did well on   the addition and subtraction to 20. Maybe next time I will try to learn more about grouping  within 100 and I could use the strategies I learn to help me to get it right. The score I have was 54 out of 60. I only need 6 more correct to reach  stage 6.

Basic facts test

Today  I was doing a basic facts test. The stage I did was stage 5.
Stage 5 was a little bit Hard but I tried my best. My score was 53 out of 60.I  only got 7 more wrong. Maybe next time I  might get them alright .The reason It was a little bit Hard  because I was  trying to workout groupings within  100 with addition and subtraction strategies But I try my best get them alright. Maybe next time I will try my hardest to solve grouping within 100  and try to focus on my maths. I hopefully this could help me next time in my basic facts test .

Basic facts test

This is a screenshot of a basic fact. The basic fact I did was stage 5.
