First picture: 1 whole is divided into tenths

Second picture: 1 whole is divided into hundredths

Third picture :  1 whole is divided into thousandths

Last picture : cut the tenths, hundredths, thousandths

This week  we were learning  about deci-mats. On my first picture  I color brown to represent the deci- mats. On my second picture brown to represent the deci-mats. Then on my third picture I color purple to represent the deci- mats. Today on my last picture I cut a piece from each paper.

But when I found out that the thousands was the smallest and  I felt really shocked.
