Apples facts

The fruit apple is growing on trees. They are growing in the ground of our school. About four years ago , all the teachers and student dug holes beside the fences. We planted heaps of trees. - Apples , grapes, feijoas, plums, oranges, peaches. We needed to look after our plants. The tree gets food from soil by the roots    

Apple is known as a fruit to eat, also it is very soft chewy so you can eat it all up. Apple is healthy to help you with your 5+ a day also give you energy to provide you to help with your nutrition. The apple is yummy because It has a lot of juicy flavour in it.

I like green and red apples because they are very yummy. They are very good to eat because they a very are delicious. They are good for your nutrition. Sometimes I go the shop and buy toffee apples.

Success Criteria: use a verb to begin every  step in the method.

Milo balls

Today we made milo ball.First we  needed to crushed a packet of biscuits. Then we pour it inside  the bowl. After that we added 4 tsp of milo,1 can of caramel topping and 1 cup of coconut.  

Ingredients

4 tsp milo

1 can  of caramel topping

1 cup of coconut

  Method

1. crushed 1 packet of arrowroots biscuit
2. add 4 tsp of milo
3. poured 1 can of caramel topping
4. mixed
5. roll the milo balls
6. put in the coconut
7. put in the fridge

Basic facts test

This is a screenshot of a basic fact. The basic fact I did was stage 5. This stage was very confusing but I challenge myself to try more harder to reach to the next stage of basic facts.To do a basic facts test online you needed  to do is go on www.prototec.co.nz. Then  you will see the word basic facts Quiz. Then after you have seen the name click on it link. Today I got 47/60 but maybe next time I will reach up to 60 percent. Also maybe next time I could used this knowledge to work out on the other stage. I hopely  this could help me with my maths problem.

My Family trip back to the cook island

First: there  15 island altogether . But the island that we  went to was called Mangaia and  Mangaia is 110 miles outside Rarotonga also it 45 minutes flight . Mangaia is one of the oldest island in the pacific . Our island age is 38 million years old .

next  : the very best thing  about  our  trip spending time with my family  also cousins . One day we had spectacular family picnic . What I  mean is all my uncle’s went for spear fishing . So  me , my cousin’s went swimming .After my uncle’s return from spear fishing we had a feed . I really enjoy  my holiday with my family  back in the island our last couples of day we went around the island . To Have look at the scenery .Even that I enjoy Mangaia But I miss  my cousin’s , nena’s, uncle’s also my aunties . May wish a best luck for them .

WALT: To create a comic strip :

Our school

Glen Innes School has ten rules. Children are expected to be  good role models and obey the rules.

Sports are very competitive at this school. Most children are allowed to  play any sports if they are well behaved.

Jump rope is allowed at any time at this school. For jump rope we need  to practise at all times. Also jump rope is to raise money for Heart Foundation for the people who are really sick.

The swimming pool is available  every summer at this school.

We are not allowed to bomb in  the pool because there are younger ones in the swimming pool and we need to take care of them.

The vegetable garden is healthy for kids and their nutrition. We planted healthy tomatoes, cabbages also lettuce and cucumbers even spinach. It helps you with  your 5+ a day. We need to look after our vegetables by pouring some water when they need it.

Our teachers are really helpful with our learning. They like us to care about our maths, writing and reading. They  are easy to  talk with. They like to keep trying to help us to complete our learning.

I have been here for six and a half years and I think this school  is awesome.I hope other students will come to this amazing school.
